Tells us about the song you are performing for the Nashville Pop Artist Spotlight. What is it about?
“Hiatus was written with Kara, Keyler Matthews and Josh Muckala. It's about just needing a break from the hustle to slow down and enjoy life :)"
What first got you into music? How did the journey begin?
“I started singing in church! Then I was in an emo christian band in high school lol.”
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
“dreamy, indie, experimental. I love a good pop song but with a twist of concept.”
What does your music represent?
“Umm, it just represents my perspective / outlook on life I guess haha”
What is your creative process like?
“fun! open to new things always!”
If you were to open for any 3 artists, who would they be?
“Upsahl, Billie Eilish, Paramore”
What is the best advice you’ve been given so far in the music industry?
“Always show up :) be the last one standing”
What would you be doing right now, if it wasn’t for your music career?
“I'm not sure, maybe something in psychology”
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
“Seeing your creation come to life!”
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives such as yourself?
“spread the word when you like something! share it with everyone you know haha”
